Survey on CEW Experiences Now Closed!

One part of our ENHANCE research is a survey exploring children’s, young people’s, and parents’/carers’ experiences of the CEW service. As of last week, our survey is officially closed! A huge thank‑you to everyone who took the time to complete it. Your input is truly invaluable and plays a key role in helping us understand what matters most to the families CEW supports.

The survey was designed to help us understand the CEW journey from start to finish. Questions included:

  • Motivations: Why do children, young people, and families attend CEW?

  • Expectations: What do they hope to get from the service?

  • Attending appointments: What works well and what could be better

  • Leaving the service: How supported people feel at the point of transition

  • Communication with the multi-disciplinary teams: Clarity, consistency, and accessibility

  • Service improvements – what families feel CEW should focus on improving.

We're still working through all of the information shared with us, but we're really excited about what we have seen so far, with some surprising and interesting results! This early information is giving is an idea of just how valuable the survey will be!

It will really help us build a detailed picture of the CEW experience and find out what improvements are most needed. We’re now moving into a deeper analysis of the full survey results!

If you took the time to share your experiences with us — thank you. Your voice will help shape the future of the CEW service, and we’re incredibly grateful for your contribution.

We can’t wait to share the results with you in due course 😊
